Yuanyan Tang

Yuanyan Tang (IEEE Life Fellow) is a Chair Professor Emeritus in the Department of Computer and Information Science, Faculty of Science and Technology, University of Macau. Professor Tang has been engaged in research on artificial intelligence, pattern recognition, image processing, and Chinese computer processing since the 1980s. Internationally, he is a founder of the interdisciplinary field of wavelet analysis and artificial intelligence, leading the development of this innovative area. He pioneered a new direction in artificial intelligence combining entropy theory and fractal theory, establishing the theoretical framework for this field.

Yong Yue

Yong Yue (IET Fellow) is a Professor at the Department of Computing, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. His research focuses on Virtual Reality, Computer Vision, Robotic Applications, and Operations Research. He also serves as the Director of the Suzhou Municipal Key Lab for Intelligent Virtual Engineering, where he leads major research projects in AI-driven VR for autonomous systems and smart manufacturing. A seasoned PhD supervisor, he has guided over 30 doctoral candidates to completion while contributing nearly 300 technical publications to the field.

Huosheng Hu (IET Fellow, IEEE Life Senior Member) is an Emeritus Professor in the School of Computer Science and Electronic Engineering at the University of Essex, UK. As a leading figure in robotics, his research aligns closely with industrial intelligence, focusing on multimodal sensor fusion and human-robot interaction. His pioneering work in autonomous mobile robots and biologically inspired robotics has produced over 500 papers. He has made significant contributions to real-time path planning and bionic underwater robotics, effectively bridging the gap between autonomous perception and intelligent control in complex environments.

Ishfaq Ahmad

Ishfaq Ahmad (IEEE Fellow) is a Full Professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Texas at Arlington, USA. His research spans parallel and distributed computing, optimization algorithms, multimedia systems, video compression, robotics, and energy-aware sustainable computing. With over 275 publications and 22,000 citations, he has received numerous best paper awards. Prof. Ishfaq Ahmad is also the founding editor-in-chief of Elsevier's Sustainable Computing: Informatics and Systems and has served on the editorial boards of multiple IEEE journals.

Wan Zuha Wan Hasan

Wan Zuha Wan Hasan (IEEE Senior Member) is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. His research focuses on computer vision-based object detection, mobile robot path planning optimization, rehabilitation and prosthetic robotics, brain-computer interfaces, and control system optimization. He has made significant contributions to mobile robotics, developing the Alpha-Beta Guided Particle Swarm Optimization (ABGPSO) algorithm, which has been shown to reduce robot travel time by up to 79% compared to state-of-the-art methods.

Dr. Mojtaba Ahmadieh Khanesar

Dr. Mojtaba Ahmadieh Khanesar (IEEE Senior Member) is a distinguished research fellow in optical metrology and machine learning at the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Research Group, University of Nottingham, UK. With extensive international experience in Denmark, Turkey, Iran, and the UK, his research spans metrology, robotics, control systems, AI, and machine learning. He has contributed significantly to EPSRC-funded projects. His research output includes 110 documents cited more than 2400 times. He has received multiple honors and maintains active memberships in IEEE, ASME, IET, and BCS.

Reggie Davidrajuh

Reggie Davidrajuh (IEEE Senior Member) is a Full Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Stavanger, Norway. His research directly applies to deadlock control, performance analysis of automated manufacturing systems, and reconfigurable production lines. He is widely recognized as the creator of GPenSIM, a MATLAB-based simulator for discrete-event systems, and has also authored five books on the modeling, simulation, and performance analysis of such systems in industrial automation. He has authored over 150 publications, with three of his papers receiving best paper awards.
