Adel M. Alimi |
Adel M. Alimi (IEEE Senior Member)is a Full Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Engineering School of Sfax, University of Sfax, Tunisia. Serving as the founder and director of the REGIM Research Laboratory, he has long been engaged in artificial intelligence, neural networks, computer vision and intelligent systems research since the 1990s. He has pioneered a set of robust evolutionary neural network models and intelligent pattern recognition theories, solving key bottlenecks in noisy, complex data feature extraction and classification, which has become a mainstream technical paradigm for intelligent analysis and identification in cross-domain engineering scenarios. |

Yong Yue |
Yong Yue (IET Fellow) is a Professor at the Department of Computing, Xi'an Jiaotong-Liverpool University. His research focuses on Virtual Reality, Computer Vision, Robotic Applications, and Operations Research. He also serves as the Director of the Suzhou Municipal Key Lab for Intelligent Virtual Engineering, where he leads major research projects in AI-driven VR for autonomous systems and smart manufacturing. A seasoned PhD supervisor, he has guided over 30 doctoral candidates to completion while contributing nearly 300 technical publications to the field. |

Zhijun Zhang |
Zhijun Zhang (IEEE Fellow) is a Full Professor and Doctoral Supervisor at the School of Automation Science and Engineering, South China University of Technology. He has been active in neural networks, robotics, and embodied intelligence since the 2010s, with a focus on intelligent control and real‑time optimization. Internationally, he is known for bridging neural dynamics with robotic systems, contributing to both theoretical advances and practical deployments. He proposed a family of varying‑parameter recurrent neural networks with fast convergence, which has established a new foundation for motion planning and adaptive control in dynamic environments. |

Prof. Ljiljana Trajkovic |
Prof. Ljiljana Trajkovic is a Professor at the School of Engineering Science, Simon Fraser University, Canada. Her research focuses on optical communication networks, photonic system optimization, and new energy-related optical sensing technologies, with an emphasis on exploring machine learning-driven optical traffic analysis and photonic solutions that support efficient energy data transmission. She has served as President of the IEEE Circuits and Systems Society, President of the IEEE Systems, Man, and Cybernetics Society(2014-2015), and other positions, advancing the development of optics and energy-related technologies. Her honors include the IEEE Joseph G. Wohl Distinguished Career Award, the Lifetime Achievement Award from the International Institute of Cognitive Informatics and Cognitive Computing (I2CICC), and the IEEE Vancouver Section Service Award etc. |

Jose Barata |
Jose Barata is Full Professor at the Electrical and Computing Engineering, Member of the Scientific Committee of the Doctoral Program in Electrical and Computing Engineering at the NOVA-FCT, where he is currently the coordinator of the section of Robotics and Computer Integrated Manufacturing from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department. He leads UNINOVA’s participation in over 10 international projects under EU research frameworks (FP6, FP7, Horizon 2020, MSC ITN). He also coordinates the H2020 BIECO cybersecurity project, three FCT-funded national projects (covering smart manufacturing, service robots, and AI for COVID-19 diagnosis), and multiple industrial projects on Industry 4.0 and autonomous service robots.He has published 300+ papers in international journals and conferences, with more than 10,000 total citations. |

Dr. Mojtaba Ahmadieh Khanesar |
Dr. Mojtaba Ahmadieh Khanesar (IEEE Senior Member) is a distinguished research fellow in optical metrology and machine learning at the Advanced Manufacturing Technology Research Group, University of Nottingham, UK. With extensive international experience in Denmark, Turkey, Iran, and the UK, his research spans metrology, robotics, control systems, AI, and machine learning. He has contributed significantly to EPSRC-funded projects. His research output includes 110 documents cited more than 2400 times. He has received multiple honors and maintains active memberships in IEEE, ASME, IET, and BCS. |

Qichun Zhang (IEEE Senior Member) is a Professor of Inclusive Artificial Intelligence at the School of Creative and Digital Industries, Buckinghamshire New University, UK. He has been engaged in research on stochastic systems, data-driven control, and nonlinear filtering since the 2010s. Internationally, he is a leading figure in the interdisciplinary field of stochastic distribution control and minimum entropy filtering, driving the development of this innovative area. He pioneered a novel data-based stochastic distribution control framework for non-Gaussian stochastic systems, establishing a new theoretical foundation for this field. |

Wan Zuha Wan Hasan |
Wan Zuha Wan Hasan (IEEE Senior Member) is a Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Universiti Putra Malaysia, Malaysia. His research focuses on computer vision-based object detection, mobile robot path planning optimization, rehabilitation and prosthetic robotics, brain-computer interfaces, and control system optimization. He has made significant contributions to mobile robotics, developing the Alpha-Beta Guided Particle Swarm Optimization (ABGPSO) algorithm, which has been shown to reduce robot travel time by up to 79% compared to state-of-the-art methods. |

Reggie Davidrajuh |
Reggie Davidrajuh (IEEE Senior Member) is a Full Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Stavanger, Norway. His research directly applies to deadlock control, performance analysis of automated manufacturing systems, and reconfigurable production lines. He is widely recognized as the creator of GPenSIM, a MATLAB-based simulator for discrete-event systems, and has also authored five books on the modeling, simulation, and performance analysis of such systems in industrial automation. He has authored over 150 publications, with three of his papers receiving best paper awards. |
